Full Itinerary  Tour program:

Day 1: Arrival Day.

Arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport  CODE: JRO you will welcomed by our representative who will  usher you into a waiting vehicle and transfer you to the Hotel in Arusha. Our representative will have a short safari briefing session with you at the Hotel and leave you to relax and have dinner.Hotel category, LUXURY: Mount Meru Hotel. COMFORT: Impala Hotel. Day 2: Arusha- Tarangire
After breakfast you will head out and drive to Tarangire National Park full day  game drive and Walking Safaris guided by an armed ranger or head out to the bush for game drives in the park. The park owns a rich bird life and good concentration of wild animals depending on season then there are high chances to see elephants, zebras, wildebeest and even lions. By visiting Tarangire in whichever the season it is full of experience you won’t deserve to miss. Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 3: Tarangire- Ngorongoro
Today we leave Tarangire and drive to Ngorongoro Crater arriving there for a picnic lunch then we descend to the crater floor by 4X4 vehicle for an afternoon game drive. A game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater is one the most impressing Safari tours you can do in Africa. Then we will camp at a campsite at the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Empakai crater at Ngorongoro Crater highland Trek
We will then have our early morning breakfast and then followed by early morning departure to Olmoti Crater for a half day walk the walk include meeting Maasai herders while trekking to the water falls of the crater. At afternoon we will proceed to our base camp at Empakai Crater.

Day 5:  At Empakai
The views along the trail downwards to the crater lake of Empakai are spectacular at every point. Games to be viewed include buffalo, bushbuck, blue monkeys and different types of birds. It is a joy to walk around the lake shore, experiencing the serenity and quiet beauty of this wild spot.

Day 6: Empakai- Natron
From Empakai we begin the Walking Safari to Lake Natron while descending the outer hills of the Great Rift Valley and walk through the open plains of the Embulbul depression, until we reach our campsite at the village Naiobi, when great opportunity to meet the local Maasai and there Manyata villages. Ol Donyo Lengai and Mount Meru can be another attractive views while our luggage are ridden on Donkeys.

Day 7:  Oldonyo Lengai
We proceed to Oldonyo Lengai, the Tanzania’s sole active volcano known as the “holy mountain” to them Maasai. After 4 hours of walking we will arrive to the foot of the impressive mountain and here we will pitch our tents or either at Ngara Sero campsite situated close to the Lake Natron

Day 8: Full View of Mountains
Midnight hours we will start to hike Oldonyo Lengai Mountain so that we avoid the heat of the sun during the daytime. Hiking on the steep climb we get to the top at sunrise at 2450m height. From here we have great views of the surrounding landscape, Lake Natron, Mount Meru and even Mount Kilimanjaro. The crater itself offers a unique spectacular view.

We descend inside the floor of the crater for a closer glance of the bubbling and steaming this is the signs of an active volcano while producing streams of molten lavas. Dinner and the overnight will be at the campsite on the foot of the mountain or at Ngare Sero campsite

Day 9: Walking Safari Lake Natron
Nature discovery walk to the Ngara Sero River that flows in the Lake Natron and in contrast to the surrounding dry landscapes. After a strenuous walk up the stream, we reach the source of the river, in cascade of waterfalls the river gush out of the mountain. Dinner and overnight at the campsite

Day 10: Lake Natron- Longido Mountain Walking
After breakfast we drive to Longido then visit a project initiated by the SNV a eco tourism development organization of the Netherlands. We spend a day walking around the extensive plains of Longido Mountain with lush forestation and get some insight into traditional African culture of the people living around this area then Dinner and Overnight at the project’s campsite.

Day 11: Longido-  Arusha
Drive back to Arusha, where we arrive in the afternoon. Depending on your plans you may Extend your trip to Relax at Zanzibar or transfer to the airport for onward flight
